We share our beaches with the sea turtles.  The sea turtles also love our beaches.  They lay 100’s of eggs and it is amazing to follow the nest till they hatch and make their way to the open waters of the Gulf, to return years later to lay their eggs and the process continues.  You can track them or volunteer to help at www.alabamaseaturtles.com. If you are fortunate you may be able to observe a sea turtle nest hatching. You can view a video of a nest hatching at   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R14FREY_FYA
